Recycling and reinvesting in the community are core issues to the mission of Stardust Building Supplies, a unique Arizona non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Founded in 1997, Stardust Building Supplies operates discount building materials warehouses that offer new and gently used materials and supplies at 50-80 percent off regular retail price.
How Does Stardust Help The Community?Stardust uses the materials received and the profits from its retail warehouses to reinvest in the community through two of its own community service programs. The Angels On Call program provides no-cost home repair services and other related assistance programs to elitible homeowners. The Computers For Kids program recycles donated refurbished computers to school-aged children in under performing and disadvantaged school districts. At Stardust we also are doing our part to keep the environment greener! Through our no-cost deconstruction service to homeowners, we have diverted used building materials from the landfills to our warehouses where they are recycled back into the community.
